Willow is the more sheltered of our two waters. Your ticket reserves a place on the lake; you choose from the open pegs when you arrive. The plan below helps you get your bearings before setting off.

Fish care

Use a wet, padded unhooking mat and a suitable landing net.
Return fish safely and promptly. Do not retain them in sacks.
Use barbless or micro-barbed hooks. Fixed lead rigs are not permitted.

On the bank

Stay within your swim and respect neighbouring anglers.
Do not leave rods unattended.
Take all litter home and follow staff instructions.
Night fishing requires the relevant ticket.

Arrival & access

Use the venue address and arrival instructions on your booking confirmation. Please arrive within your ticket window and show your digital pass if a member of staff checks you in.

Gate instructions are sent with a paid ticket if the venue uses a PIN. Never share access details with another angler.

Facilities

The live venue profile will list verified toilets, parking, drinking water, accessibility and any on-site shop or food service. Check the details before travelling rather than assuming a facility is available.

Swim access

Each water has its own numbered plan. Willow anglers choose an open peg on arrival; Meadow anglers head to the peg shown on their ticket.

Finding us

Willowmere is a fictional sample venue, so there is no real address or navigation pin. A live fishery page will show its postcode, entrance point and a directions link supplied by the owner.

How do I book a ticket?

Choose a water, date and ticket duration. Meadow also requires an available peg. Read and accept the fishery rules before payment.

Do I need to choose a peg?

On Willow, choose an open peg when you arrive. On Meadow, select a numbered peg during booking and use the same number shown on your pass.

What should I show the bailiff?

Keep the digital pass or voucher ID from your booking confirmation ready on your phone.

When do I receive gate instructions?

If a fishery uses controlled access, instructions appear on the confirmed ticket and booking email. Never use a PIN shown outside your own paid session.

What about parking and facilities?

Check Plan your visit for the venue’s verified parking, toilets, water and accessibility details before travelling.

Can I change or transfer my ticket?

Tickets are issued to the named angler. Contact the fishery directly about a change before the session; the venue’s booking terms apply.

Please read the terms below carefully. These rules are put in place by the fishery team to preserve the ecosystem, protect fish health, and maintain water safety. Failure to comply with these rules on the bank will result in immediate removal from the fishery complex without a refund.

1. Use a wet, padded unhooking mat and suitable landing net at all times. 2. Return every fish safely and promptly. Do not retain fish in sacks. 3. Barbless or micro-barbed hooks only. No fixed lead rigs. 4. Respect neighbouring anglers, wildlife and marked swim boundaries. 5. Do not leave rods unattended. Take all litter home. 6. Night fishing is permitted only with the appropriate ticket. 7. Follow bailiff instructions immediately. Fishery staff may close a swim for safety or environmental reasons. 8. Gate details are supplied after payment. Do not share your access instructions. End of rules.
